
Ingredients
- 250 g chicory root
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- Salt
Instructions
- Thoroughly clean, peel and slice the chicory roots into slices of approx. 1-mm thick.Â
- Heat a generous amount of oil to 170°C in a pan and deep-fry the slices for about 2 minutes until crispy.Â
- Remove with a skimmer, drain on kitchen paper and season with salt. Serve immediately.
