It’s Halloween time and you don’t really know how to carve your Jack’o’Lantern. A little method, technique and some ideas: here are some workshops, for children but also for adults, to make the most beautiful lantern in the neighbourhood!
- On Saturday, October 22nd, children are expected at Hornbach’s between 10 am to 4 pm. Two employees will help them to carve the spookiest Halloween pumpkins (€6.59 or €7.99 depending on the size).
- For older ones, on Tuesdays 18th and 27th and Thursday 20th October, FleuRebelle, florist in Reckange-sur-Mess, proposes very refined workshops to decorate your pumpkin in the most beautiful way. Registration on www.fleurebelle.lu
- The City of Bissen proposes, on October 15th from 9am to 12pm, a creative workshop at the Hal Frounert village hall. Bissen is also organising a Pumpkin competition (to be submitted on October 14th) and a squash exhibition until October 30th. On October 29th, come and party around the pumpkin for the Kür’Bissen ball!
- A unicorn pumpkin? A Minnie pumpkin? A romantic pumpkin? For every age, De Fleurs en Fleurs, in Schifflange proposes workshops around pumpkins. A few places are still available on Friday 14th and 21nd October.

- Halloween Deko is an Halloween floral workshop for children aged 7 to 12, which will be led by Nadine Hahn. Each little florist will leave with his creation around pumpkins, or witches… Sunday, October 30th from 9:30 to 11:30 am at the KulturHaus in Niederanven.
- The Atelier Pop Art in Strassen offers children the opportunity to make their own pottery pumpkin. A workshop for children aged 4 to 12 and parents will be on Saturday October 15th from 9 am to noon. During this time, adults would be proposed pottery turning with the Viv’Art ceramics workshop in Metz.
- On Tuesday 25th and Thursday 27th, from 2:30 pm to 5 pm., the National Museum of Natural History proposes Kalbass&co workshops for 9-10 year olds with the Panda Club. Let yourself be surprised by the pumpkin and its family members!
