IWA, a Sake elaborated by Richard Geoffroy has been launched in Luxembourg. This new Sake opens a new era in the secular tradition of Sake’s production.
IWA was brought to life by a constellation of creative and passionate minds. The designer Mark Newson carved IWA into glass, finishing it with an unconventionally dark, velvet sheen. Fused to the body as a thin layer of flat white glass, the IWA mark has been drawn by calligrapher Mariko Kinoshita.
IWA 5 Sake has a point of origin, Toyoma, west of Japan, and combines traditional and contemporary expertise.
As an expert in the art of “Assemblage”, the art form of blending, Richard Geoffroy offers an avant-gardist approach in the long-established process of rice processing. Eager to reach a unique balance, IWA 5 is the result of an Assemblage.
