Nespresso launches new coffee to support local coffee farmers as part of its Reviving Origins programme

Helping farmers in vulnerable regions to produce quality coffee and build a decent life: this is the field work carried out by Nespresso through its Reviving Origins programme. The new coffee resulting from this project is called Amaha awe Uganda.

Nespresso has launched since 26 May in Belgium and Luxembourg Amaha awe Uganda, a new seasonal coffee straight from the Rwenzori mountains in Uganda. The creation of this unique coffee is the result of Nespresso’s Reviving Origins programme.

Launched in 2019, this programme aims to restore coffee production in regions where it is under threat. It works in a simple way: to directly support local coffee farmers with financial investment, training and other resources to ensure their long-term sustainability and sustainable livelihoods.

You can now find the new coffee, AMAHA awe UGANDA in store and on Nespresso’s online shop.
