Rice Krispies Pumpkins

Light, crisp, and full of nostalgia, these Rice Krispies pumpkins capture the spirit of autumn in every bite. Ideal for a Halloween buffet or a cosy afternoon snack.

  • 75 g rice krispies
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 150 g marshmallows
  • 1 pinch salt
  • Orange food colouring
  • Salt or pretzel sticks for the stem
  • Green fondant for the leaves
  • Soft butter for forming the pumpkins
  • Melt the butter over low heat.
  • Add the marshmallows and stir constantly until they have melted completely. Tint the mixture orange with food colouring.
  • Mix in the rice krispies and allow the mixture to cool slightly.
  • Rub a little soft butter on your hands, then form the mixture into small balls.
  • Insert a small salt or pretzel stick in the middle of each ball to make a stem.
  • Decorate with green fondant leaves.
