Bars & Restaurants allowed to re-open

Luxembourg will be entering a new phase of its deconfinement plan, allowing restaurants & bars to re-open under strict rules

The Prime Minister, Xavier Bettel, has announced on Monday that Restaurants & Bars in Luxembourg will be able to server clients starting from Friday the 29th of May and on the 27th of May for establishment that have a terrasse.

Under strict conditions

In order to guarantee the safety of customers, bars & restaurants will have to create a separation of 1.5m between tables, limit the number of people per table to four and install Plexiglas plates. In addition, it will no longer be possible to stand at the counter or in the middle of a coffee shop. Finally, clients will also have to respect rules such as staying at their table and wearing a mask when entering and leaving a facility.
