Immersive experience with 30 companies

On 21 and 22 September 2024, more than 30 companies will once again be opening their doors for an immersive experience. The theme of this 18th edition will be ‘Dat ka Lëtzebuerg’, as it was last year. One of the participating companies is RAK Porcelain.

Promoting the talent and excellence of the Luxembourg economy

Organised by the communications and events agency brain&more, and under the patronage of the Ministry of the Economy, the success of this event has been confirmed over the last 17 editions: nearly 451 companies, organisations, municipalities and industrial firms have taken part, raising awareness among nearly 339,900 visitors. Portes Ouvertes Luxembourg gives companies of all sizes and sectors throughout the Grand Duchy the opportunity to showcase their activities, expertise and staff. Every year, the managers and their teams are proud to unveil their activities to the public, illustrating ‘what they do’. It’s an exceptional source of motivation for employees and a valuable showcase for their skills and the quality of their services.

Awakening curiosity and meeting opportunities

For young people and adults alike, Portes Ouvertes Luxembourg offers a variety of opportunities: jobs, training, internships, as well as exclusive visits to explore the know-how of Luxembourg companies and technological innovations in various sectors.

Participants can explore a wide range of organisations and businesses, from social institutions and public administrations to food producers, craft businesses, research and development centres, energy producers and healthcare companies, as well as industry. You can discover the world of BioG Molkerei, Grosbusch, LIST (Institute of health and science) or le Syndicate des Eaux du Sud.

Open Day at RAK Porcelain

On both days, RAK Porcelain will be opening its doors to the public and organising guided tours to introduce visitors to the company and its expertise.

This will also be an opportunity to discover their new range, ‘De Neie Lëtzebuerg’, launched in February 2024 and designed by the artist Jacques Schneider, who will also be present during the days.

There will be an exceptional ‘braderie’ with special offers on porcelain, glasses and cutlery. There will also be a creative porcelain drawing workshop for younger visitors.
