Those who book an Business Class flight with Luxair to Dubai from the upcoming winter season can look forward to more than just extra legroom! The Luxembourg airline has teamed up with the German three-star chef Thomas Schanz to serve their guests an exclusive menu on board. Schanz is known for his creative reinterpretations of classic dishes.
The project starts on October 16, 2024 and runs until May 2025. During this time, passengers can expect a selection of exquisite dishes that have been specially developed for the cuisine at lofty altitudes. From salmon with caviar as a starter to free-range chicken as a main course – Schanz ensures culinary experiences at 10,000 meters. Vegetarians will also get their money’s worth with an alternative option. To end the meal on a high note, there is a cheese buffet and a dessert made from orange and Aragon olives. Sounds tempting, doesn’t it?
Thomas Schanz, who runs his restaurant schanz.restaurant in Piesport, Germany, is a fixture in the world of haute cuisine. Since 2011, he has proudly held three Michelin stars. His precise and creative approach fits perfectly with Luxair’s goal of making flying a true experience.
