Our favourite terraces in Luxembourg

After a rather disappointing start to the summer with lots of rain, the late summer is finally promising us some milder days and nights. It’s the perfect time to make up for the missed afternoons and evenings on Luxembourg’s many fantastic terraces. Tero Bistro 17 located right next to Place du Théâtre in the city centre, offers an unmissable terrace with an amazing view of the Mudam and Kirchberg. De Gudde Weather, the terrace of the Gudde Wellen, offers a variety of drinks, from classic cocktails like Hugo to house creations. Close to the Palace of Justice, it will amaze you thanks to the incredible views it offers of the Grund and the Kirchberg plateau. However, it’s only open if the weather allows.

The terrace at L’Hêtre beim Musée is undoubtedly one of its standout features. Located in the heart of the old town, right next to the Luxembourg City Museum, it overlooks the lower city, offering a stunning view. On particularly hot days, the old trees provide some refreshing shade, allowing you to enjoy the excellent French cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere.

The terrace at Sazio in the Grund is a true hidden gem. Located in one of Luxembourg’s most beautiful courtyards, it offers a relaxed atmosphere, especially on warm days. Shaded by trees, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy modern Italian cuisine in peace. The statue of Napoleon overlooking the courtyard adds a unique charm, making it a popular summer destination.
