Baked Apples with Nuts and Cranberries

    Baked apple with nuts and powdered sugar

    • 4 tart apples
    • A little lemon juice
    • 30 g pistachios
    • 30 g pine nuts
    • 30 g mixed nuts
    • 2 egg yolks
    • 45 g cream
    • 75 g raisins
    • 50 g cranberries
    • 2 tbsp butter
    • 130 ml white wine
    • 130 ml Marsala
    • 70 ml orange liqueur
    • Wash the apples, remove the core and drizzle with a little lemon juice. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
    • Roughly chop the pistachios, pine nuts and mixed nuts. Combine with marzipan, egg yolks and cream. Fold in the raisins and cranberries. Fill the hollowed apples with the mixture.
    • Place the apples in a greased baking dish and pour over the white wine, Marsala and orange liqueur. Bake for about 20 minutes.
