Ready to let the magic of Christmas begin with this second dish from the Le Moulin 1704 “Feierdeeg Dinner Box”? Get out your best kitchen apron and let yourself be guided by this recipe for duck strips served with Le Moulin 1704 “Spätzle” with winter vegetables and a sweet and sour sauce!

Ingredients
- 300 g duck aiguillettes
- 250 g root vegetables (parsnips, tricoloured carrots)
- 200 g Le Moulin 1704 Spätzle
- 35 g Moutarderie de Luxembourg mustard "à l'ancienne"
- 35 g Moutarderie de Luxembourg strong mustard
- 30 g De Beiefritz Luxembourg honey
- 20 cl Luxlait 12% liquid cream
- 20 g sunflower seeds
- 2 cl soy sauce
- Fresh thyme
- Fresh rosemary
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Peel the root vegetables and cut into sticks.
- Heat the olive oil in a frying pan or casserole dish.
- Roast the vegetable sticks over a low heat with a few sprigs of thyme and rosemary for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, roast the sunflower seeds in a small frying pan over a high heat for around 5 minutes. Set aside once golden and crisp.
- Bring a pan of salted water to the boil and cook the Le Moulin 1704 Spätzle according to the instructions on the packet. Drain and keep warm.
- Remove the skin from the aiguillettes using a paring knife.
- Heat some olive oil in a frying pan and roast the aiguillettes over a high heat for about 3 minutes. Keep warm in aluminium foil.
- Deglaze the hot pan with the soy sauce.
- Add the De Beiefritz Luxembourg honey, the Moutarderie de Luxembourg mustards and the Luxlait liquid cream.
- Smooth the sauce, emulsifying with a whisk if necessary.
- Arrange the Le Moulin 1704 Spätzle, roasted vegetables and 3 aiguillettes on each plate.
- Drizzle the honey-mustard sauce over the aiguillettes.
- Sprinkle the roasted sunflower seeds over the top and decorate each plate with a sprig of fresh rosemary.
