Spring celebration on Place de la Constitution

After the success of its first edition, the event “Fréijoer op der Gëlle Fra” with its extensive program of activities is returning this year to the Constitution Square. Starting in May, the square will also host a brand-new panoramic tower: the “Look 360 Panorama” replacing the City Skyliner that is usually installed.

Outdoor Fun and Music

Since last Friday and until Sunday, April 27, 2025, this iconic square in the heart of the city, home to the famous Gelle Fra statue, will be transformed into a place of conviviality. Surrounded by blooming magnolias that smell of spring, the square has been given a fresh spring decoration: wooden round tables, a pétanque court, a stage set up for live music (bands and DJs), as well as family-friendly activities on Sundays (the Zaltimbank circus and the acrobats of Aramleo) and several food stalls.

A beautiful bar installed in an Airstream truck overlooking the Pétrusse Valley below will allow everyone to take a peaceful break in the heart of the city. A musical program will add to the festive atmosphere of this springtime event, maintaining a laid-back vibe.

Exceptional Panorama to Discover

From Saturday, May 10 to Sunday, June 15, the Constitution Square will host a brand-new mobile panoramic platform. This year, it won’t be the famous City Skyliner but the “Look 360 Panorama” tower, which rises to a height of 71 meters, offering visitors the chance to enjoy an exceptional 360° view.

The program of “Fréijoer op der Gëlle Fra” will be followed by “Summer op der Gëlle Fra” offering numerous activities between July and September, including “d’Stad liest” offering an open-air library (collaboration between Ernster and the City of Luxembourg).
