Tasmania – A Journey into Culinary Elysium

Anyone who has traveled all of Australia and only arrives in Tasmania at the end will surely regret it, as it could have been easier! Friendly people, a manageable, not too hot island with nineteen national parks, shady forests, mostly empty beaches, but above all with delicious, excellent food.

In Australia, there are places that sound like they have just tumbled onto the map from a fairy tale or a fantasy novel: the Gorge of the Rainbow Serpent, the Mountain of Cloud Forests, the Valley of Whispering Trees. On the stunningly beautiful island of Tasmania, this all gets even better. There, you will find both a Garden of Eden and a place called Paradise. The Garden of Eden is located south of Devonport. Scottish pioneers once gave this name to the coastal plain and a small river. Right next to it, they founded a place called Promised Land. The promised land. Anyone visiting Tasmania will surely agree with them.
