Ingredients
- 10-12 dates (pitted)
- 200g of nuts (I used almonds and walnuts)
- 100ml of nut butter (I used almond butter)
- 2 teaspoons of salt
- 100g of dark chocolate
- 1 teaspoon of coconut oil
- 3 teaspoons of cinnamon
Instructions
- Open the dates in two and place them - slightly overlapped, onto a baking tray aligned with parchment.
- Before topping the dates, cover them with a parchment paper and roll them out with a rolling pin so that they are nice and flat.
- Remove parchment paper.
- Roughly chop the nuts.
- Spread the nut butter and top with nuts, cinnamon and salt.
- Melt the chocolate in a bain marie with the coconut oil and cover the dates with the mixture.
- Set in the fridge to harden for about 1 hour.
