Sources Rosport launches a limited edition of its one-litre glass returnable bottles for its flagship products, “Rosport Classic,” “Rosport Blue,” and “Rosport Viva,” in celebration of Luxembourg’s National Day.
The idea behind this special edition is to feature the work of a Luxembourgish artist to celebrate the national holiday. Last year, “Sources Rosport” introduced a limited edition of its naturally sparkling mineral water, “Rosport Blue,” designed by Luxembourgish artist Lisa Junius, which received positive feedback and inspired the company to make it an annual event.
For 2023, the chosen artist, Liz Kummer, who specialises in creating unique visual universes for everyday consumer products. Inspired by the themes of “Sources Rosport” and Luxembourg’s National Day, Kummer incorporated the slogan “D’Waasser vum Liewen” (The water of life) into her design, emphasising the message “zesumme liewen, zesumme sinn, zesumme feiern” (living together, being together, celebrating together).Â

In addition, the decision to use returnable glass bottles for this limited edition aligns with the company’s commitment to quality and ecological considerations. Indeed, these bottles are made from over 70% recycled glass, can be refilled up to 50 times, and are 100% recyclable at the end of their lifecycle. By focusing on local distribution and not exporting their products, “Sources Rosport” maintains a short distribution circuit and minimises their environmental impact.
The bottles can be found throughout Luxembourg, but be quick they are likely to sell out.
