
Ingredients
- 160 g semi-complete flour
- 80 g of butter
- 80 g brown sugar
- 1 egg
- red fruit jam
Instructions
1. In a bowl, mix the sugar and flour. Add the butter in pieces and mix with your fingertips to sand the dough.
2. Add the egg and mix to obtain a homogeneous dough.
3. Form a ball and leave it to rest for 20 minutes in the refrigerator.
4. After 20 minutes, roll out the dough and cut out large circle with a cookie cutter .
5. Using a smaller cookie cutter, cut out the center of half of the circles in the shape of a heart.
6. Place the shortbread on a baking tray covered with baking paper and bake for 10 minutes at 180°C.
7. Leave to cool.
8. Spread a little jam over the whole circles and place the circles with the heart shape on top.
