Since February, the “CeeJee” food truck has been stationed in Junglinster, offering fresh, homemade meals at affordable prices in the parking lot of the sports center.
February might have been chilly, but that didn’t stop Christophe Beaussart (Cee) and Jason Barone (Jee) from setting up shop every weekday lunchtime with their brand-new food truck in the parking lot of the Op Fréinen sports center in Junglinster.
Culinary Professionals at Work
To Junglinster locals, Jason Barone is a familiar face — he worked for seven years as the manager of the restaurant-delicatessen “Le Gourmet” in the Laangwiss 2 shopping center. His father-in-law, Christophe Beaussart, has built a career in institutional catering, including positions as head chef at the Eich Clinic and executive chef at the Court of Justice. “After forty years of managing people, I wanted to finally work for myself,” he explains. The food truck idea emerged during a casual conversation between the two men and became reality in early February!
A Fully-Equipped Vehicle
Their brand-new truck was specially customized for them and features comprehensive equipment: a pizza oven, plancha grill, deep fryer, freezer, four refrigerators, exhaust hood, and more. “And there’s still enough room for both of us,” joke the two strapping men.

Homemade Delicacies
Everything here is homemade: “In the morning, I prepare all our daily specials in my professional kitchen, which we sell for €9.90. I mainly use Luxembourgish products and even make the sausages myself,” explains Christophe Beaussart.
As you might expect, the menu features fresh and affordable food. “With our location in front of the sports center, we also get many young people coming by. Here, they can find food at reasonable prices,” explains Jason Barone.
A Convenient Parking Lot
A small pizza for €6, a generously filled sandwich for €5.50, pasta for €8.90, dessert for €3.50, and of course, the daily special for €9.90. The CeeJee food truck relies on customer loyalty: “Already, many office workers from the surrounding area come to get our daily specials. The advantage here is that you don’t have to look for parking — the lot is large, you can park immediately.”

Appointment at Art’Lënster
“Currently, we’re here Monday to Friday from 11 AM to 3 PM, and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 PM to 8 PM. We’re testing evening hours. But we also participate in community events! We’ll be at Art’Lënster (a major art exhibition, editor’s note) on April 12 and 13, and also at larger events at the sports center,” summarizes Jason Barone, proudly adding: “And of course, our food truck is available for private events!”
