Dining for a cause: SOS Faim collaborates with Luxembourgish restaurants.
October in Luxembourg is marked by a unique culinary initiative. SOS Faim is spearheading the “Déjeuners solidaires” (Solidarity Lunches) campaign, aiming to mobilise residents to address the urgent challenge of global hunger. This effort is in line with the World Food Day celebrations on October 16th.
Locals and tourists alike are encouraged to support by dining at partner venues, which include Beet, Bouneweger Stuff, EXKi, Independent Café, and Seed in Luxembourg City, Chez Toni in Schifflange, and Brasserie K116 and Mesa in Esch-sur-Alzette. Alongside a delightful meal, attendees can make financial contributions, either in cash or via meal vouchers in a dedicated collection box. In addition, Sodexo will also be offering its customers the opportunity to send meal vouchers to SOS Faim or make a charitable donation.
The funds collected will be dedicated to SOS Faim’s efforts in Africa, reinforcing their commitment to eradicating hunger and poverty.
