From 12th to 14th June 2025, the Cloche d’Or Shopping Centre will become a playground for all curious food lovers with FESTI’FOOD, an event entirely dedicated to healthy, local, and responsible eating. The aim? To combine pleasure and education around “good eating” and “responsible consumption”.
Initiated by the Cloche d’Or Shopping Centre, this project represents a concrete commitment to educational and societal values. By celebrating good eating and responsible consumption, FESTI’FOOD seeks to raise awareness among both young and old about the importance of more sustainable food choices. After all, good habits start early — and what better way to teach them than through a fun and engaging event?
For three days, the Golden Square of your favourite shopping centre will host a range of fun, creative, and educational activities aimed at children, families, and schools specially invited for the occasion. The activities will highlight the specialties of each local producer, offering a programme as rich as it is delicious. Kilogram, Leftlovers, Luxlait, Ernster, Alavita, SNJ, Good Food Loop, Aurel and Axel, as well as Chef Alessio — president of Les Escoffiers — promise to bring a fantastic line-up to the Cloche d’Or aisles!
Highlights include:
- Sensory Challenges by SNJ & Good Food Loop: Interactive quizzes to learn how to decode Nutri-Score, spot hidden sugars, and test spice memory.
- Zero-Waste Games by Kilogram: From making mini recycled notebooks to a 100% green memory game, children dive into the world of recycling through play.
- Fruit and Vegetable Workshops by Alavita: Blindfolded recognition, seasonality quizzes, and creating vitamin-packed skewers — a true nature class!
- Sensory Riddles: Blindfolded, gloved hands exploring a plant structure full of surprises; children guess which fruit or vegetable is hidden under the bell. A unique activity with a diploma to earn.
- Gourmet Storytime at Ernster: Flavourful tales to raise awareness from a young age, paired with a selection of educational books on site.
- Vegetable Painting Workshop: Get creative with natural inks made from fruit and vegetable juices to paint in a new way.
- “Protectors of Tomorrow” Game: An interactive game offered by the Shopping Centre to explore sustainable development goals and promote environmental protection.
Alongside these educational activities, FESTI’FOOD will also offer tastings of local products and opportunities to meet partner producers. Chef Alessio Zappala, well-known among food enthusiasts, will close the festival with a participative workshop. You will have the honour — and we don’t mince words — of admiring the chef’s technique and picking up some of his tips and tricks.
