The only sparkling wine cocktail that can truly be deemed delicious. Yes, Champagne does make everything better, adding both proof and flavor to the drink. A perfect evolution of the Fizz and Sour.

Ingredients
- 35 ml gin
- 10 ml fresh lemon juice
- 5 ml sugar syrup
- Chilled champagne, to top up

Method
Shake all the ingredients (except the sparkling wine) together in a shaker with ice, then strain into a chilled flute. Top of with the sparkling wine, and quickly dip the barspoon into the glass to gently mix the sparkling wine with the cocktail. Garnish with a fine lemon zest.
