Ingredients

  • 100 grams fresh spinach leaves
  • 1 medium-sized apple (about 150 grams), cored and chopped
  • 1 ripe kiwi (about 100 grams), peeled and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 240 ml coconut water or water
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place all the ingredients (spinach, apple, kiwi, lemon juice, ginger, and coconut water or water) in a blender.
  2. Blend on high speed until all the ingredients are well combined and the smoothie reaches a smooth and creamy consistency.
  3. If desired, add a few ice cubes to the blender and blend again until the smoothie is chilled.
  4. Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness or tanginess by adding more lemon juice, if needed.
  5. Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately.
