La Provencale and Brasserie Simon are unstoppable ! After the Lëtz’Spritz, the two Luxembourgish actors are now tackling soft drinks, made in Luxembourg of course. Let us introduce you to Lët’zkola and Lët’zlimo: kola, orangeade and lemonade.
1, 2, 3, it bubbles!
Three small bottles are entering the Luxembourgish soft drinks market. Red for the kola flavour, yellow for the orange and green for the lemon/lime. All three are decorated with a red lion logo and proudly stamped “crafted in Luxembourg”.
These 100% Luxembourg drinks are produced and bottled at the Brasserie Simon in Wiltz, which has been expanded to accommodate this new range. Brasserie Simon is also responsible for distributing these products to the major retail players. For its part, La Provençale handles marketing and sales.
A natural drink
These soft drinks are guaranteed to contain no artificial colours or flavours, no preservatives, no artificial caramel and no phosphoric acids. Only natural flavours and colourings are used.
Lëtz’limo (orange and lemon) is composed of 8 to 12% fruit juice and natural orange and lemon flavours.
How about the sugar level, you might ask? Thanks to the use of the natural sweetener Stevia, Lëtz’Kola contains 37% less sugar than other colas.
La Provençale’s sommelier, Tristan Duval describes Lëtz’Kola as “a generous bubble, a pronounced taste of kola nut, lime, sweet spices and caramel mingle with sweetness balanced by a delicate acidity.”
The range is only available in returnable glass bottles, which are washed and reused.
