La Provençale – Lët’z Pop – Luxembourgish Popcorn Corn

This time, La Provençale has chosen to work with Charles Welbes, who is already involved in the Lët’z Kinoa project, to launch the latest addition to its snack range: LËT’Z POP popcorn corn. In Canach, east of Luxembourg City, Charles cultivates this specific type of corn, harvested at maturity to be transformed into popcorn. Unlike traditional corn, this variety requires more sunshine and high moisture content inside the kernel, allowing it to pop well under heat pressure during cooking. Sweet, salty, or spicy – it’s up to you to dream up a recipe that best suits your cravings. Just heat up some sunflower oil in a pan, cook up some LËT’Z POP and settle down to watch ‘Capitani’ or ‘Le Club des Chômeurs’ on your projector screen for a 100% Luxembourgish night in! LËT’Z POP!
