Ingredients

  • 10-12 dates (pitted)
  • 200g of nuts (I used almonds and walnuts)
  • 100ml of nut butter (I used almond butter)
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 100g of dark chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon of coconut oil
  • 3 teaspoons of cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Open the dates in two and place them - slightly overlapped, onto a baking tray aligned with parchment.
  2. Before topping the dates, cover them with a parchment paper and roll them out with a rolling pin so that they are nice and flat.
  3. Remove parchment paper.
  4. Roughly chop the nuts.
  5. Spread the nut butter and top with nuts, cinnamon and salt.
  6. Melt the chocolate in a bain marie with the coconut oil and cover the dates with the mixture.
  7. Set in the fridge to harden for about 1 hour.
