Tenerife is one of the most popular holiday destinations for Europeans — and for good reason. Beautiful beaches, breathtaking mountains, and famous animal parks attract thousands of visitors annually. But did you know that the island is also a paradise for foodies?
Yes, you heard that right! In Tenerife, you can not only enjoy the sun but also embark on culinary exploration tours. Let’s take a look at the culinary discoveries I made during my visit last June!
Vinoteca Con Pasión — Puerto de la Cruz
In the small port town of Puerto de la Cruz on the quieter, less touristy north side of the island, Vinoteca Con Pasión is THE go-to spot for foodies. In addition to a huge collection of regional and international wines, you’ll find some of the best tapas in the entire Canaries here. Whether it’s prawns with curry, croquetas in six flavours, or mini salmon burgers — finger-licking is definitely on the agenda. The wine tasting with tapas pairing is highly recommended.
