Marrakech is a city like no other. A visit to this city is an experience that stimulates all your senses: its colours, its flavours, its scents will captivate you upon arrival – and never let you go. Just a few hours away from Europe, you immerse yourself in a completely different world.
Many say they wouldn’t recognize the red city today, as mass tourism has changed it significantly. Having grown up in Marrakech in the 1990s, I must say that I completely disagree with this opinion. On the contrary. Every time I visit, even twenty years later, I rediscover memories of my childhood and realize that the city still possesses all its charm. It has managed to blend tradition and modernity. There are various ways to explore the city. Personally, I find it most beautiful to discover it “locally” as it truly takes time to get close to its magic.
