The Michelin Guide has set up in Metz

Since Saturday 29 March, Metz has become the world capital of gastronomy, as the Michelin Guide will be awarding its (french) stars there on Monday 31 March.

To mark the 2025 Michelin Guide star ceremony taking place on Monday 31 March, the Village Gourmand and the Moselle Wine Festival have taken over Place de la République.

At the Village Gourmand, 39 food stalls, 23 winegrowers’ stands, and 8 stalls featuring Qualité MOSL artisans showcased the culinary heritage of the Moselle region. Meanwhile, the Moselle Wine Festival offered tastings from 30 winegrowers, including 16 AOC Moselle estates, as well as producers from Luxembourg, Germany, and the Toulois area (near Nancy).

The official opening took place at 4 p.m. on Saturday, attended by regional dignitaries and Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the Michelin Guide. Look back in pictures.
