    Ingredients

    • 4 tbsp pumpkin, squash or pumpkin puree
    • juice of 1 orange
    • 40m ml milk
    • ground cinnamon
    • ground nutmeg
    • 1 tbsp maple syrup (or more, as you like)
    • 4 shots of espresso
    • whipped cream

    Instructions

    1. Peel and seed the squash (unless it's a red kuri squash, the skin can be left on), and cut into pieces. Cook in a saucepan covered with water.
    2. Blend the cooked squash with the orange juice until smooth.
    3. Pour 4 tablespoons into a saucepan, add milk and maple syrup. Mix well. Once hot, place the mixture in a blender and blend until smooth.
    4. Pour into cups. Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg (you can also substitute pumpkin spice mix if you have it). Stir to combine.
    5. Add an espresso shot to each cup, this may be optional to taste.
    6. Top with whipped cream for those with a sweet tooth.
    7. Sip it under a blanket!
