Method
- Put the flour in a mixing bowl. Add the butter, egg, cream, sugar, and vanilla powder. Mix until well combined.
- Roll out the dough until 0.5 cm thick.
- Cut into strips about 10 cm long and 2 cm wide.
- Fold each strip into a knot.
- Deep-fry at 175°C for approximately 3–5 minutes until golden brown. Leave to cool on paper towels.
- To serve, dust with powdered sugar.
