We’re not talking about the Olympic Games here, but about the Concours Nationale des Cr\u00e9mants de France et de Luxembourg! The 33rd edition took place on 19 April in Limoux (Languedoc, France) and Cr\u00e9mants from Luxembourg were awarded!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Moselle region of Luxembourg was the only non-French wine-growing region authorised to present its Cr\u00e9mants at the competition. The French wine-growing regions represented at the competition included some of the most famous: Alsace, Burgundy, Aquitaine, Limoux, Loire, Jura and Savoie. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The Cr\u00e9mants were blind-tasted in five sub-categories (Blanc Brut, Blanc Brut Mill\u00e9sim\u00e9, Ros\u00e9 Brut, Blanc de Noirs Brut and Cuv\u00e9e-Sp\u00e9ciale) by different representatives of the wine-growing regions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The professional tasters particularly appreciated the 40 or so Luxembourg samples presented.
