The French wine-growing regions represented at the competition included some of the most famous: Alsace, Burgundy, Aquitaine, Limoux, Loire, Jura and Savoie.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Cr\u00e9mants were blind-tasted in five sub-categories (Blanc Brut, Blanc Brut Mill\u00e9sim\u00e9, Ros\u00e9 Brut, Blanc de Noirs Brut and Cuv\u00e9e-Sp\u00e9ciale) by different representatives of the wine-growing regions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Gold and silver medals<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The professional tasters particularly appreciated the 40 or so Luxembourg samples presented.
