Explore G.A.N.G. Foodhall, a revolutionary culinary destination nestled in Luxembourg’s La Belle Etoile shopping centre. With a dynamic atmosphere and an array of international cuisines, this establishment is poised to redefine the gastronomic landscape of the region.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the heart of La Belle Etoile shopping centre in Bertrange, a unique culinary experience awaits food lovers. G.A.N.G., a newly unveiled foodhall, is the result of the collaborative vision of two passionate restaurateurs, St\u00e9phanie Jauquet and Salvatore Barberio. After dedicating more than two years to its conception, the duo has introduced a sprawling food court that occupies 1,800 square meters of the iconic Luxembourg mall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

G.A.N.G<\/strong>. the acronym for G<\/strong>.\u00e9n\u00e9rosit\u00e9, A<\/strong>.mour, N<\/strong>.ourriture et G<\/strong>.o\u00fbt boasts an impressive gastronomic lineup, featuring two restaurants, a bar, and a shared consumption space with the capacity to seat 500 guests. Moreover, this diverse culinary hub offers a selection of eight different cuisines. As well as offering a tempting range of flavours, the foodhall boasts extended opening hours, making it a practical option for meals at any time of day, going beyond the hours of traditional restaurants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, it’s not just about food. The creators, Jauquet and Barberio, have envisioned a space that promotes social interaction, facilitating a sense of community and connection among its visitors. They have worked meticulously to ensure the foodhall’s ambience exudes warmth and conviviality. To achieve this, they collaborated with an architect (V\u00e9ronique Witmeur), artists (Jacques Schneider, the Argentinian Pablo Piatti and the Dutch collective Rotganzen), and professionals from the hospitality industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Food Offer Like No Other<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Open to all, guests can frequent the establishment for a family lunch, a post-work rendez-vous among colleagues, or a romantic dinner, ensuring each visitor’s diverse culinary desires are catered to. Quality is the watchword through their choice of local, short-circuit produce, meticulously crafted into dishes by skilled chefs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

G.A.N.G.’s food offerings celebrate diversity and choice. It houses two distinct restaurants: “Le Grand Caf\u00e9<\/strong>,” a brasserie-style eatery focusing on grills, matured meats, and fresh, local produce; and “Specto<\/strong>,” helmed by the imaginative Chef Morris Clip. Specto, with its open-kitchen concept, offers an intriguing blend of flavours, visual appeal, and a dramatic ambience reminiscent of a theatre setting. To make the experience even richer, “Um Plateau”<\/strong> is also present as an intimate bar recreating the atmosphere that has made the success of its parent restaurant in town. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The food-sharing<\/strong> area is notably set up as a village square, complete with a centrepiece tree and seating, making it an ideal meeting place. Around it, eight diverse culinary corners, ranging from rotisseries to Asian cuisine, as well as a beer bar and a barista corner. The entire space ensures a medley of atmospheres and price points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, every Sunday (starting from the 10th of September), a Brunch will be offered where you will be able to indulge in a lavish buffet, sampling dishes from various restaurants and corners. Other events will take place such as the “Back to School” party at Bar Um Plateau and an Oktoberfest-themed beer evening, ensuring a mix of flavours and fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The food court craze seems to be taking the country by storm. On 30 August, the Knauf Schmiede shopping centre also opened a “Food Village<\/a><\/strong>” comprising 5 food corners serving world cuisine, an \u00e0 la carte restaurant and a central bar, all enhanced by a large terrace with seating for over 800 all round, making it the largest food court in the north of Luxembourg. Also worth noting is the opening of a new Urban<\/strong><\/a>, from the Mama’s Boys group, in the Copal shopping centre. It seems that shopping centres in Luxembourg are definitely on a roll. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
