Slow food communities and the notion of Convivium. <\/strong>Each community and convivum operates in a given territory, in permanent dialogue with the rest of the local network and contributes to the international network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Terra Madre Network <\/strong>is involved in all Slow Food events, helping producers and activists and educating the public. The network is at the heart of the biennial international meeting, regional and national meetings. An annual global day of action is dedicated to it on 10 December.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Terra Madre Salone del Gusto <\/strong>has been held every two years since 2004 in Turin, Italy, an event co-organized by Slow Food, the Piedmont Region and the City of Turin. In 2018, this spectacular gathering brought together 7,000 Slow Food representatives from 150 countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Slow Food Foundation for Biodiversity<\/strong> is structured around “l’arche du go\u00fbt”, “les Sentinelles”, les “Dix mille Jardins en Afrique”, “l’Alliance des Cuisiniers”, “les March\u00e9s de la Terre”, “Slow Food Travel”<\/em> et les “\u00c9tiquettes Narratives”<\/em>. <\/strong>Learn more<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n L’Arche du Go\u00fbt<\/strong> is a catalogue of forgotten and endangered quality foods: 5000 listed products from 160 different countries. Learn more<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n L’Alliance Slow Food des Cuisiniers: <\/strong>\u00a0is a large solidarity network made up of chefs who choose to cook the products of the “Sentinelles” and communities of local producers and commit themselves to promoting them. Launched at Terra Madre 2016, Slow Food Travel offers a new model of tourism, involving meetings and exchanges with farmers, cheesemakers, livestock breeders, butchers, bakers and winemakers who, together with the chefs who cook their products, are the storytellers of their region and the specialists in the discovery of local traditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Les March\u00e9s de la Terre.<\/strong> These are farmers’ markets that have been established according to guidelines in line with the Slow Food philosophy. These community-run markets are important meeting points, where local producers offer consumers healthy, quality products at fair prices, while ensuring sustainable production methods.
