What a joy to be able to experience such a cinematographic event over 17 days! Because this year again, the CinEast festival has programmed great cinema on the country’s screens. Although 35 feature films and 35 shorts were on the programme, only seven films were nominated in the official competition: Celts<\/em> by Milica Tomovi\u00c4\u2021, Forest – I See You Everywhere<\/em> by Bence Fliegauf, Inventory<\/em> by Darko Sinko, Miracle<\/em> by Bogdan George Apetri, Never<\/em> Gonna<\/em> Snow Again<\/em> by Ma\u00c5\u201agorzata Szumowska and Micha\u00c5\u201a Englert, Saving One Who Was Dead<\/em> by V\u00e1clav Kadrnka, and Murina<\/em> by Antoneta Alamat Kusijanovi\u00c4\u2021<\/p>\n\n\n\n “The main prize goes to Murina<\/em> (Antoneta Alamat Kusijanovi\u00c4\u2021, editor’s note), a coming-of-age story told with graceful vigour and incredible detail”, decided Romanian director and screenwriter, Golden Bear winner Radu Jude, president of this 14th edition. A clear choice, despite a very high quality selection, which did not escape the jury, composed this year of Czech director Michaela Pavl\u00e1tov\u00e1, Nicolas Steil, Luxembourg producer and director, Larisa Faber, Luxembourg actress and director, and finally C\u00e9line Masset, co-director of the Brussels International Film Festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\nMurina and Never Gonna Snow Again: the choice of the International Jury<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
