Our Legal Framework

Our legal terms are organized to serve different aspects of our business:

1. Scope and Acceptance

1.1 Who These Terms Apply To

These B2C Terms apply when you purchase from us as an individual consumer:

Magazine subscriptions:

  • Annual subscriptions (4 issues per year)
  • Multi-year subscriptions
  • Gift subscriptions

Online shop purchases:

  • Individual magazine issues
  • Digital subscriptions
  • TaStyBox curated gift boxes
  • Digital downloads (PDFs, e-content)

1.2 Consumer Rights

As an EU-based company, we provide full EU consumer protection, including:

  • 14-day right of withdrawal
  • 2-year guarantee on physical products
  • Protection against unfair terms
  • Clear pricing and information

1.3 Acceptance

By placing an order, you confirm:

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You accept these Terms and our General Terms & Conditions
  • All information provided is accurate

2. Subscriptions

2.1 Subscription Types

  • Annual with monthly or one-off payment
  • Delivery: Luxembourg, Europe Zone 1 & 2, Worldwide (shipping costs according to final destination)

2.2 Subscription Start

Your subscription begins with the next available issue after your order:

Order deadlines:

  • By November 1 → Winter edition
  • By February 1 → Spring edition
  • By May 1 → Summer edition
  • By August 1 → Fall edition

2.3 How to Subscribe

Online:

  • Complete order form at our website
  • Receive confirmation email within 72 hours

Email:

  • Send request to [email protected]
  • Include: name, delivery address, phone contact, preferred magazine(s)

Mail/In-person:

  • Complete paper form
  • Submit via post or at events

2.4 Payment

Methods accepted:

  • Credit/debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • PayPal
  • SEPA bank transfer (advance payment)

When payment is due:

  • Card/PayPal: Immediate charge upon order
  • Bank transfer: Within 7 days (invoice sent via email)

2.5 Renewal

Automatic renewal with opt-out option. When your subscription expires, we will send a renewal reminder and a proposal for renewal. You can opt-out at any time, just check your account or send an email to [email protected].

2.6 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time with 6 weeks notice before the next issue.

Refund: Prorated refund for undelivered issues, processed within 14 days.

How to cancel: Email [email protected] with your name and subscription number.

3. Online Shop Purchases

3.1 Products Available

Physical products:

  • Individual magazine issues
  • Back issues and special editions
  • TaStyBox seasonal gift boxes

Digital products:

  • Digital magazine subscriptions
  • Individual digital issues
  • Premium articles and content

3.2 Ordering Process

  • Add to cart – Select products and quantity
  • Checkout – Enter shipping and billing information
  • Payment – Complete secure payment
  • Confirmation – Receive order confirmation email
  • Fulfillment – Physical items shipped / Digital access granted

3.3 Contract Formation

A binding contract is formed when:

  • You receive our order acceptance email (usually within 24 hours), OR
  • We ship your physical product, OR
  • We grant access to digital content

We reserve the right to refuse orders for legitimate reasons (payment issues, suspected fraud, stock unavailability).

3.4 Prices

All prices in EUR (€) including Luxembourg VAT. Shipping costs displayed at checkout (included for subscriptions).

4. Delivery

4.1 Physical Products

Standard shipping:

  • Luxembourg & EU: 2–5 business days
  • International: 5–10 business days
  • No tracking for standard magazine shipments

TaStyBox (tracked shipping):

  • Tracking number emailed when dispatched
  • Signature may be required

4.2 Digital Products

  • Access granted upon payment confirmation
  • Login credentials or download links sent to your email
  • Available 24/7 from your account

4.3 Shipping Address

Your responsibility:

  • Provide complete and accurate delivery address
  • Be available to receive delivery

If delivery fails due to incorrect address or unavailability:

  • Return shipping costs are your responsibility
  • Redelivery subject to additional charges

4.4 Delivery Delays

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Postal service disruptions
  • Customs clearance (international orders)
  • Force majeure events (natural disasters, strikes, pandemics)
  • Incorrect delivery information

5. Right of Withdrawal (14 Days)

5.1 Your Right

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving a reason.

Withdrawal period starts:

  • Physical products: Day you receive the goods
  • Digital products: Day of contract conclusion (unless you request immediate access)
  • Services: Day of contract conclusion

5.2 How to Withdraw

Send a clear statement to [email protected]:

Subject: Withdrawal – [Order Number]

Include:

  • Your name and address
  • Order number and date
  • Product(s) you’re withdrawing from

You may use the withdrawal form template at the end of this document (not mandatory).

5.3 Exceptions – When You CANNOT Withdraw

Digital content:

  • If you consented to immediate access and acknowledged losing withdrawal right
  • After you’ve downloaded or accessed the content

Sealed products:

  • Magazines opened or unsealed (hygiene reasons)

Perishable goods:

  • TaStyBox contents with expiration dates (if opened)

Important: At checkout, you must check a box for immediate digital access, which waives your withdrawal right for that specific product.

5.4 Effects of Withdrawal

If you validly withdraw:

  • We will refund: All payments received and standard delivery costs (not premium shipping if you chose it)
  • Refund timeline: Within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice
  • Refund method: Same payment method you used (unless you agree otherwise)

You must return physical goods:

  • Without undue delay (max 14 days after withdrawal notice)
  • You pay direct cost of return shipping
  • Products must be in original condition

Diminished value: If returned product shows use beyond what’s necessary to establish its nature and function, we may deduct a proportionate amount from your refund.

6. Returns and Refunds

6.1 When You Can Return

Physical products returnable if:

  • Defective or damaged upon arrival
  • Wrong product received
  • Materially different from description
  • Exercising Right of Withdrawal (Section 5)

NOT returnable:

  • Magazines opened or showing signs of use
  • TaStyBox items consumed or opened
  • Products returned more than 30 days after delivery (unless defective)

Digital products: Non-refundable after access granted, except:

  • Technical issues prevent access (we’ll fix or refund)
  • You haven’t accessed content and are within 14-day withdrawal period

6.2 Return Process

Step 1 – Contact us: Email [email protected] with order number, reason for return, and photos (if defective/damaged).

Step 2 – Authorization: We respond within 24 hours (business days) with return address and instructions.

Step 3 – Ship product: Pack securely in original packaging (if possible); include copy of order confirmation; you pay return shipping (unless defective or our error).

Step 4 – Inspection: We inspect and approve/reject refund.

Step 5 – Refund: Processed within 7 business days to original payment method.

6.3 Defective Products

If product arrives defective or damaged:

  • Contact us immediately with photos
  • We arrange return shipping at our expense
  • Choose full refund or replacement

Magazine quality: We are proud of the top quality of our magazines. Significant printing errors, missing pages, or binding issues are covered.

7. Digital Content Terms

7.1 License

Digital content is licensed (not sold) to you for:

  • Personal, non-commercial use only
  • Duration: Annual subscriptions (12 months) or perpetual (individual purchases)
  • Download and store for personal use

You may NOT:

  • Share login credentials
  • Distribute or republish content
  • Use commercially
  • Remove copyright notices

7.2 Technical Requirements

  • PDF reader (Adobe Acrobat or equivalent)
  • Internet connection for downloads and online access
  • Modern web browser (latest Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge)

7.3 Access Issues

If you experience technical problems preventing access, contact [email protected]. We will resolve the issue or provide a refund.

8. Liability and Warranty

8.1 Product Warranty

Physical products: Free from material defects for 30 days. Remedy: repair, replacement, or refund (our choice).

Digital products: Accessible and functional. Technical support for access issues.

8.2 Our Liability

We are liable for:

  • Intentional misconduct or gross negligence
  • Personal injury caused by our negligence
  • Breaches of mandatory consumer protection laws

We are NOT liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits or data
  • Third-party service failures (postal delays, payment processor issues)
  • Force majeure events

Maximum liability: Amount you paid for the specific product.

9. Data Protection

We process your personal data in accordance with GDPR. For complete details, see our Privacy Policy.

We collect: Name, email, shipping address, billing address; payment information (securely processed by third parties); order history.

We use your data for: Order processing and fulfillment; customer service; legal compliance; marketing (only with your consent).

Your rights: Access; correction; deletion; withdraw marketing consent; data portability.

Marketing: You can opt out of marketing emails anytime via the unsubscribe link or by emailing [email protected].

10. Dispute Resolution

10.1 Governing Law

Luxembourg law applies. EU consumer protection regulations take precedence where applicable.

10.2 Jurisdiction

Luxembourg courts have exclusive jurisdiction.

10.3 Amicable Resolution
